DreadLocks
Hello everybody. Well, as we all now, today we live by our own styles. Sometimes, we have to adopt a certain style just to be accepted into our group of friends. A very well known style is the dread. Unlike the majority of us think, dreadlocks weren’t created with the rastafari movement, neither with Bob Marley. The use of dreads is so old it becomes impossible to date when they were first used. But what is known is that villagers that inhabited the Indian region were probably the first people the use the locks mainly for practicality: their hair became very long and it was extremely hard to cut them, so they let them curl up and with natural scalp oil they twisted the hair so that they could conserve a cylindrical shape, that diminished the volume and size of the original hair
A lot of people in time became dread just to belong to a group of people who wanted another equals, because they found a look that made them feel good.

My Profile
Hi, my name is Tânia da Costa e Silva , I’m 27 years old and I have graduated in Chemical Engineering , Genetic Engineering and laboratory analysis at the King’s College in London. Now, that my graduation is over I’m trying to find a job which relates my area with the place I want to work. For example, I graduated in this college and I have more experience, particularly with regard to laboratory tests, as worked for 1 year in a laboratory in the United States. Last summer I was working on a research on the causes of Myasthenia Gravis and this summer I was working on a crime that occurred in Portugal. So with these two things I have lots of opportunities to work in London, my dream work place. While I’m working I also want to get a post-graduate degree. I already have some working experience because I worked in a part-time job at a nearby building research.
My expectations for this year
My expectations for this year, in addition to taking good marks are achieving at least level 14, a final note, to overcome my difficulties in speaking and understand the English, start using a wider vocabulary and also get a conversation with someone, noticing at least the messages that I send and who have to pass. For Pass throw my difficulties, I promise a little more to study grammar, study the vocabulary, watching films with subtitles in English and try to understand the meaning of phrases.
